Documenting Infrastructure That Converts — The Engineering Hub Case Studies
Every software engineering portfolio contains a skills section with familiar buzzwords: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, React, TypeScript, PHP. Yet hiring managers and engineering directors review hundreds of identical candidate profiles every week. Listing technology names demonstrates nothing about how an engineer actually thinks, solves problems, or navigates real-world architectural trade-offs.
To differentiate my portfolio from generic résumé sites, I created the Engineering Hub (`/engineering`). Rather than displaying static skill badges, the hub publishes comprehensive architectural case studies documenting the real production systems, CI/CD pipelines, and security gates that power this platform.
An effective engineering case study is not marketing fluff; it is a rigorous post-mortem and design specification. Each case study on our engineering hub follows a disciplined six-part structure: Problem Statement, Real Constraints, Architectural Options, Chosen Implementation, Production Failure Modes, and Measured Outcomes.
